Took these pics awhile back (there is snow here now obviously.) Found the VIN today when I was cleaning my room so I figured I should post it for chris and to show the rest of you. Took a hit in the front right, plates are from early 80s. I want to say mileage was in the 60k area. Black interior, buckets, column shift. Very complete car, and not very rusty panels, I think the under carriage is probably crap though from sitting for so long. Grille is good. Never popped the hood to get fender tag because owner was never home. I stopped two seperate times and left a note on the door both times, no luck. Can't say that I didnt try, maybe I will get a call someday, until then it's in Mopar heaven. Here you go Chris- XP29H9G302893. Enjoy the pics guys!

Well to be honest a lot of these people will not take the time to call you.  You may have to find the owner and/or property owner to learn more.

KEEP TRYING... that car could be saved.

I saw the WI plate,  NW Wisconsin is beatiful.... At least I think so ,,,, IT is flat as a board here.

I live in Fargo, ND

You can see the house and barn in the background of a few pics. Nobody was home both times that I was there. I don't want to seem too nosey. Knowing people these days I'm sure I would get charged from tresspassing or something like that.

It is in good shape. But, like I said, I'm worried/concerned that the underbody is just toast from sitting in the weeds for so long, you can't really tell from the pictures that the lower quarters are rotted good. All in all it is a very solid car for around here.

Is it just me? But to me it looks like the wheel sits back a bit to far going by the lettering on the tire.

Mine is a little over 308,000 and it was built on July 8th at St. Louis. I think production ended on July 11th. I would guess that one was built the week before mine.

You need to keep trying.  Don't settle for notes on the door. GO to the door until someone is home and answers it. You'll own it sooner that way

73rallye440magnum

maybe i will try again in the spring, besides that im broke right now anyways finishind up my car.

Go buy a tarp & throw it on there...then leave a note on the tarp to call you. I bet he calls that time! ;D

Of course the call will probably be to b!tch you out. :flame: :smilielol:

The Aquamax...yes, this bike spent 2 nights underwater one weekend. (Not my doing), but it gained the name, and has since become pseudo-famous. :)

There is one Charger I am after that I actually offered to put up on blocks for the guy to get it off the ground....he said they would do that themselves. Of course 2 years later and it is still sitting in the dirt.  :rotz:

I'd try leaving a new note with a $20 bill or something.  Tell them you'll make it $50 if they will just talk to you and discuss the possibility of selling.
