How many 69 charger r/t's were built with a power sunroof, power window's, cruise control, and a/c.

moparjohn

Not many!!  There was 391 1969 Chargers made with sunroofs, less than that number were R/T's.  I have a 69 SE only, with A/C, PW  and Cruise. I don't have a number, but it can't be high, less than 100?
Happiness is having a hole in your roof!

I've got one of those cars with a hole in the roof. Except mine is a RT/SE. Would love to see more pictures of the car that is for sale. How much is he asking?

carman

He is asking 49,500.00.

His figures are a bit off.....only 131 R/T's with a sunroof....260 base model cars for a total of 391 as John stated above.

I only have 3 X9 R/T so far registered....is the car correct to the tag?

EDIT above....3 X9 R/T's registered

That black car looks really familiar.

Ck the VIN , and see if it's by chance a originally a 383 non R/T , black( but originally bronze)  with tan interior with black R/T rump stripe. If it's the one I think  it is, I know who built that car

carman

If i get a chance i will go look at it agian this weekend.

so, is a non #'s matching, non-R/T, clone worth that kind of money?

It's sort of pushing the envelope. You have to ask yourself, are you interested in the car because of it's restored state, the sunroof and nice color combination? Then I would say yes. If you're interested more in getting an original R/T, then I would say it's too much. But, in today's market, all values are down, but the cost of the restoration doesn't care about market value, rarity or 318 car versus 440. It will still cost pretty much the same...
