Why only one drive Stuart?
I bought it got it started and drove it home , mind you my mom was a single parent and my dad wasnt really around and if he was he coulldnt change a light bolb  So there was noway he was working on a car with me   So on the way home it shreaded all the nylon teeth off the timing chain gears ( great idea mother mopar)   . So i paid a chevy guy i knew to put a double steel roller chain and gears set in it .  He was a moron or i had bent every valve or something but after a year of jacking with it i traded it off for a 2000.00 paint job on my 69 road runner i still have today . This was 1984 and i only paid 300.00 for the charger so i thought i got a great deal .

   more on that story later

My first Mopar is in my sig below...the black Charger, got it in '74, still got it

BROCK

Rebuilt the 440 in my Charger with the help of a Chevy friend.
Wouldn't start fun any reason.  I got so frustrated with it that
I took it back out & stripped it.  My friend put the crank gear
in backwards :brickwall:

His thinking?  Well it works on Chevies :brickwall: :brickwall:

Well i had bought a set that has three different setting  on the cam gear too so who know now looking back on it if he put it together right ? I was young and dumb .

This guy is also the guy I had paint my 69 road runner the first time and my 2000.00 paint job ended up being a chevy guy bondo job that all had to be redone anyway .  I was getting taken all around . .
