last day I had the car-

so barely 2 days on ebay and I got an offer way above my reserve price...the only stipulation was that I find some way to deliver the car. I said no problem, from new orleans to galveston? I'll DRIVE the car there. and I did. Woke up early, my sister and her boyfriend wanted to come along and off we went. A little nerve wracking on a friday with lots of traffic and quite a few 18 wheelers making sudden lane changes but we made it with no problems whatsoever. The guy that bought the car is a HUGE dukes fan and is going to make it into a general lee.

I wish I could have kept it but it still had a ways to go and it didn't make sense to keep it for me at this time-specially when I had knowledge of a car nearby that's pretty sweet.

I've been so busy lately (even though this week is my spring break...HA!) that i haven't had a chance to post. I had posted some comments in one of my photo threads about selling on ebay and how I had found a car nearby, etc.

I was asked for pics of what this find was, what was the car like, etc and I was a bit coy about that because I didn't want to make it a sure thing until I had paid for it and was actually in the driver's seat.

I had seen it up for sale last year and then saw it again when I went to get some parts-at the time, I was just curious about the car and what his price was, no intention of buying it or even thoughts about it. But after a few months, doing the math of what I needed and wanted to do with car #2, it just didn't make sense to keep it...I had done some searching, been looking at ebay auctions and nothing was really catching me. And then I remembered this nearby car, one I wouldn't have to make a long trip to get...although the color combo is an odd one, it's one I could live with for the time being. Even the wheels on it are cool for 15s and a little different...big plus was that the car has AC, he used it as his main driver and put his daughters in the back...I could put my little girl in the back seat, she would be comfortable and she wouldn't go deaf riding in it. And it'd give no headaches to my significant other, as I'd be able to save more than before.

this is the car and it belonged to Travis before me.

more pictures and photo shoots with it will come soon enough!!
