Really, where's that thing at? It's under enough camoflague - maybe we can replace it with a cardboard stand-up. If you pass by it again, grab the seats for me!   - dm

If we plan this right, we could be in and out with the stuff we need in no time.   ???

Theres a guy near me that I have been trying to buy a 68 Charger from, thats been sitting in the same spot for more than 15 years! He won't sell it,and it's rotting into the ground! I asked him to sell it to me while it's still salvagable. He bought it new in 68 and won't part with it! It's a 318 auto, car, with chrome magnum 500 wheels on it. I sold him a right side rear window when some kid smashed it out. Maybe I will get the call to come get it someday!

Someone really does need to take a picture of these neglected and forsaken Chargers and then invent some sort of inexpensive holographig imaging - all these people never seem to touch them anyway just as long as they can see them...okay, well a bit too far fetched but still...

I know the feeling. I'm trying to get a 70' from a guy thats been sitting for 26 years now. never wrecked, he drove it where he parked it. Say's he might fix it someday.? ::) Yah right, if after 26 years you still can't get to it, YOU'RE NOT GOING TO!!!!! :slap: OH, and guess what? He's got a HEMI :bawling: The car overheated in 1979 and has sat since. I'm still working on him and he said he won't sell it to anyone else. And so I wait.

that'll buff out!
pictures always look better than the real thing.
its sad to see the cars we love in such a shape but if it weren’t for the cars like this, there would be no parts for ours. That and all of you sporting matching number mint cars; they would not be worth as much! Its a sad necessity, there is now excuse, however for some one to just let it rot away like that.
A friend of my uncles has a 70 440 6 pack charger just rotting away next to his barn. He wont sell it to me because he’s going to restore it when its just sitting in the tall grass being inhabited by raccoons. I told him that I have a solid shell for it and every thing. He doesn’t want to let it go because he bought it new. I can understand that but if he has been planning on restoring it for the last 15 years and he still hasn’t found space for it in his garage what makes him think that he will ever get it done?

Thought I had this one bought for $3500 about a year ago and the guy backed out when I showed up with the trailer to take the car home. Will probably never be restored. The grille is nearly perfect except for one small ding in the center mldg. The only rust that I saw was in the upper quarters near the deck lid. Easily repairable.
