Hitman, things are looking up.  Thank god for miracles or so it seems.  Also, I have to give some shout outs to FLG, JohnTPR, and MoparJohn for their calls and concerns.  Ive always said that this place is like a second family to me.  Thanks for the support guys.

Yeah, E-town doesn't advertise it at all, the entry fees are ridiculous, your "goodie bag" consists of (if you're lucky) a cheezy newspaper & a dash plaque, you can take your family to a nice dinner for the prices they charge for their sub-par food, and the only attractions (other than the car show) are the survivors tent and drag racing.
HOWEVER, having said that, and being a Jersey boy also, how can you NOT miss it??? I've been going every year for the past 24 years. I just enjoy spending time with friends. Great seeing Just6T9, ChrisG, Daytona John, Doug, and many others that are non-members here.
And, see ya's TOMORROW!!! Same bat time, same bat place.  :2thumbs:

I went there today, the swap meet was really small and so was the show. The racing was great though.

uggggg my pooooor dog is sick AGAIN!!! =/ sooo we are staying home with him to "doggggie sit" aghhhhhhh  :rotz:
ohhhhh wellll and it's a beautifulllll weekend out too!! hope everyone is safe & has a great time!!!!
maybe next year i'll actually be able to DRIVE the charger there!!!!  :2thumbs:

HITMAN sorry about the sick doggie... I've been there recently hopefully the pup feels better soon!  As for the show it was good to see Bill, Chris and Doug as well as a few new friends... good times!


This Charger right here is a one of none, that means none before it, none to come.

I agree.  It was really good to see the two Chris', Bill, Doug, MoparJohn, JohnTpr, and others who escape my mind right now.  Special thanks to everyone who tried to help me with my engine issue that I noticed at the show.  For some strange reason, my alternator pivot bolt decided to snap off just inside the cyl. head.  I was able to get a new bolt package at the show through Herbs Parts but I still could not get the broken part of the stud out.  Big thanks to Moparsal who let me borrow his electric drill to try and get the broken bolt out but I did not have enough clearance for the drill to fit in there.  Luckily, the bracket was strong enough to make the 1 1/2 hr journey back home without throwing the belt.

How was the swap? Were there a lot of vendors? Were there a lot of show cars?
I couldn't make it. I am busy trying to get the 'Cuda back together for the Mopars in Motion show the 23rd at Papa's Dodge.

Yeah, this poor little show, needs some TLC to get back to what it was, Gosh, remember what it wa like in the late 80's and early 90's (yeah, old now!) I was gald to see the gang, and the cars that showd were great, parts was small, but scored a set of shoes for my wagon- NOS Chrysler ones-$25/'set-Happy!!

Show is getting smaller & smaller, been vending for 10 years & it's the worst turnout for vender's & buyers.
The show & race cars still show up,
Etown needs to advertise & bring in a few big named racers like the old days,
But it's a weekend away to get some sun & fresh air, meet people & have a beer with a good cigar.
