Anyone have a set of Transgo TF-2 instructions handy?

I'm trying to solve a late shift problem in my 904 transmission that I installed a TF-2 kit into about two years ago.
I pulled the valve body and was checking some measurements and found that the line pressure adjusting nut was turned all the way out to 1 5/8".
My transmission book says the correct adjustment is 1 5/16" so I dont know if I made a mistake or what because I dont have the TF-2 instructions anymore.
Could someone tell me what the adjustment says in the TF-2 instructions?

I've got an old 727 instruction sheet.
Lists pressure regulator seat height as 1 9/32.

After two years it may be another problem and have nothing to do with the kit.

Thats true but I'm just eliminating possibilities.
Thanks for that picture
:2thumbs:

edit: my book says "turning the pressure regulator adjustment screw clockwise decreases line pressure"
So when turning clockwise it backs out the adjustment nut and I had it backed out all the way decreasing the pressure all the way,
what effect would that cause in shifting?

Charger RT

I would think low line pressure would make it shift late.

Like i said on "the other board", Transgo instruction sheets are all over the place when it comes to pressure regulator adjustments...at one point backed all the way off was their procedure for street driven cars. (when using their blue spring)
Pardon me but my karma just ran over your dogma.

Maybe the line pressure adjustment isn't so critical after a TF-2 is installed?
Also if you look at the picture area that is circled, if I had that sleeve in backwards would it cause late shift all the time or mostly when cold? I only ask because mine shifts very late but once it shifted it will shift properly until it cools down again.
I'm almost positive that there was no mention of this in the instructions I had.

I had a similar problem with a 1972 727 in a 440 Fury. After a warm shut off ,next time you drove it it would stay in first gear untill about 35mph with any throttle opening, then finally shift. After that first shift it was normal. It ended up being worn seal rings on the main shaft .  It's been over 30 years since that repair ,not sure what the the rings where called.
