E5 Charger

Interesting 74 Charger at World of Wheels. Subtle custom work. Looks like a 71 front bumper, car has been slightly lowered, 72? tail lights, and side markers from a 71 Satellite (I think).

Winnipeg, Canada. Only a couple Chargers, this one and a GL. But there were a lot of Cudas and Challengers. Brand new Plum Crazy Challenger RT and 70 convertible owned by the same guy. Had fake license plates that said Then and Now. Henry Winkler, the Fonz, was signing autographs.

Brock Samson

interesting detail work on that custom...  :scratchchin:

Hey! Those Challengers are owned by my friend Pat who lives in Winnipeg! You guys on this board might remember the Q5 Daytona clone he built several years ago....
Pat and I ordered our PCP Challenger Classic R/Ts are roughly the same time, and his arrived last month. In fact, it's been doing duty along with the '70 at a local car dealership showroom.
My Challenger is going to be delivered to my dealership within the next few days!

Oh...I heard Mr.Winkler was charging $20 for his autograph.....AYYYYYYYY!!! :2thumbs:

He was charging $20, I didn't go for it. Pat is a member of the local mopar club, I'm not, and has a very cool collection of cars. I see them at car shows all the time. Magnumcharger are you from Winnipeg? Did you see his interview at the Barrett-Jackson auction? They have a clip of it on the mbmopar website.
The new Challenger is awesome in purple, enjoy it!

noff57

Got any more pics of the charger?

E5 Charger

Just a few more. It was hard to take photos because it was so crowded.

That Charger looks awesome  :2thumbs: I like all the little custom touches especially the sidemarker lights. I would change the steering wheel, and wheels  :Twocents:

No, I'm not in Winnipeg, but I lived in Manitoba for 10 years in the 1980's-90's. Oh, I plan on enjoying my Challenger!

Hi UFO, looks like we were at the same show. I thought the show was great, a lot of cars I haven't seen before.

UFO

Yup, I was there.
There's normally a few cars that finally get finished over the winter and make their big debut.

Those '71 plymouth side markers look really good with the '72 Charger taillights. They match really well.

Awesome photos! Must have been taken before the doors were open. No people bumping into you or walking in front of the camera. Great Mopar display, I'm looking forward to the outdoor shows that will be starting soon.   :2thumbs:
