Rattling PCV Valve

My car's PCV valve makes a dreadfully annoying rattling sound when the car is running. The valve is brand new, and when pulled out of the top of the valve cover, there is a significant amount of vacuum if you put your finger over the PCV valve. Any thoughts on what would cause this?

sounds lik eit is working Ok , have you tried another PCV valve to see if it is quiet? yours could be defective
