sloted rotor direction

Which way do the slots  turn on slotted /cross drilled rotors?  I took them out of their boxes before i realised there is a left and right rotor.

Looking at side of rotor, top of slot should point forward.....

At least that's how I have installed them...

That's right, the slots are designed to direct brake dust to the centre of the wheel

Says the brake specialists I have spoken to/dealt with. I have had 3 cars with slotted/cross drilled rotors and that's how they went. But if you have instructions to say otherwise, then install them as per manufacturers recommendations (I did)
