Have you guys ever seen the little dolls, around 2.5-3' tall that I call "Shame dolls"? They lean up against your car with their hands and arms up by their heads in "shame"?? I have no clue what they are REALLY called.

Is there any place that sells them finished??

You'll laugh, but I need a Bo & Luke "time out doll". i think it would fit my story perfectly at car shows.

ChgrSteve67

You will probably have to buy two already made and then dress then in the clothes you think are appropriate for Bo & luke.

I posted a ebay link above.

The above photo is a great example of "overdoing it".     Assuming I wanted to, I couldn't get a nice photo of that car for all the yard sale junk on and around it.

In general at a show,  I want to see your car, not all the crap hung all over it.     This includes, the crying children dolls,  HUGE sign boards,  large stuffed animals,  flags, dash plaque displays of the other 900 events you've attended, diecast models and trophies.    Having said that, those dolls in and of themselves are pretty stupid.    And that's as nice as I can put it.

jb666

 a good friend of mine just put it best..."They are ok leaning up against 50's cars at shows but not the General, that would look really stupid".

My thought was just to have "mini-dukes in shame" leaning up against the car signifying the bizarre path this car took... But I'll stick to the photo album and let that tell the story

Thanks guys, I'm convinced!!!

That's such a cute picture... I can remember taking my daughter to the car shows with me when she was that age.. It was great watching her, because she knew enough to "look but don't touch anything", and the cars fascinated her... She still loves going with me (she's 18 now) , but it's not the same. Enjoy these times  :2thumbs: :2thumbs:
