Upper window gasket channel

The one piece stainless steel top channel that holds the gasket the windows seat into when rolled up.............is there a gasket between this channel and the roof? Pardon the lousy description. Thanks

there is a thin strip of foam stuck to the back of the stainless weather strip channel , forget now but might of been a bout 3/16 " thick could of been little more , , i just cleaned the old stuff off & used 3m double sided  moulding tape ! but the side of the tape that touched the body , got rid of the glue on that side ! , just preferance to me , easier to take off ! should i ever need/want to some time

Man! I wish we had twist off bottles here in Norway! Really enjoyed it when I was on vacation on the West Coast 
Alcohol is much cheaper too!
