Does anyone know if this is a reproduced part and where to get it?

71_Charger_R/T

I don't think the plate is but the woodgrain decal is.

so,,,,is it a 70 e-body piece or a 71-74 B/E body piece. they are not the same . might wanna ask first

number if screws going thru them to attach it to the console is different between the 2

Nacho-RT74

thats new to me... interesting... how many screws ?

70 E body consoles are the same than AT LEAST first half production 71 B consoles ( dunno remmeber if all the 71 production, due the bigger opening for the belts buckles storaging )

I had to ck and make sure before I opened my mouth

1970 takes 4 screws
71-74 has 5 screws

the rear ashtray / seat belt buckle area has no bearing in the top plate

Nacho-RT74

yeah, well but the top console section is shared by top plate and belt buckles area, so less screws maybe will mean diff top section console cast too ? dunno just thinking :shruggy: is good to know ;D

Is a fact ashtray model and not ashtrays model have some cast differences on lower section of console assembly, like the tab screws area, being deeper in ones against the other. ( beside the "fins" or reinforcements unexistant on non ashtray kind )
