Me and my dad restored a '70 Buick GSX for his friend back in 2000-2002. My Charger sat outside for 2 years while we restored it. We didn't do body and paint but my dad put everything else together. I learned a lot watching and helping him with the GSX. His friend owns a bunch of muscle cars and he finally got around to putting them into a warm warehouse. He never drives it, its such a shame. Instead he's selling it now for $110,000. My name is written on the back of the door panel on the right side. I was also the first person to sit in it after it was finished. I sat in this for hours pretending to drive :) I still have the jar of paint my dad used to paint the exhaust manifolds with. My Charger's manifolds are painted with the same stuff. My Charger's brake booster is also painted gold. :icon_smile_big: Anybody else here restore or is restoring a car that wasn't yours? Share pictures if you got them.

This one someone already got into before me. Probably in the 80's since that is the last time I remember brazing on quater panels. Unfortunately they also failed to remove the old panel that continued to rust under the new panel. Made for some fun that was for sure.

Many, mostly 49-51 Mercury's, a 48 Buick, a 49 plymouth with fluid drive but the only car that I have a picture of that I did for someone else, is a 62 Ford Galaxie. The guy I built the car for sold it and I ended up buying it from the person he sold it to.
