Auto metal direct wants 350.00 each and 150.00 to ship. Thats 1000 bucks for the pair for my 72 Charger  :brickwall:

Find a distributor so you dont have to pay shipping.  You may have to pay sales tax though.

lmao, shipping is almost half of the parts price, tell em to go pound salt.

All the distributors around here tell me I still have to pay for shipping, even if I pick them up at their shop.  (Hardens and Paddock) I guess you have to live close to where they make these

I ordered a bunch of AMD sheetmetal at Stephens performance and they bring it to Mopars at the strip for me to save shipping.

Yep, pick it up at a show. These panels are oversize so even though they don't weigh much the shipping companies tack on an additional charge for their bulkiness. If you or I tried to ship one of these things it would cost just as much (or more). I ran into this with floor pans - a $200 part that cost $140 to ship. Sometimes on smaller items like valances, floor pans, etc. you can strap a few boxes together so there's only one shipping charge but quarters and skins would be above the maximum dimension limit for most shippers.

Sarcasm detector, that's a real good invention.
