Hi all!!
I'm thinking of buying headers for my 68 Sport Satellite (383 HP) I have looked on several brands and talked to some local "gearheds"
and have as many different answers as guys I have talked too!!
I really like TTI's "Polished Ceramic Coated with a Thermal Barrier" they are a little bit pricy but are they worth the extra $?
Any other suggestions.

TTI's are nice.  You can save yourself $250 and buy the Doug's.  Excellent Fit and finish.  Just bought mine for $614.66 with shipping. :2thumbs:

My dad has two sets of TTI's, talked him into the D452's.  He just put them in a couple of weeks ago, very happy.

No go with TTI there the best out there and the reason there more expensive is  the metal is approx. 3/16" thicker than any other headers, there heavy duty and if you need excatly how thick the metal is I can get that for you.
There stout and dont waste your money buying anything else- TTI get the specs right on the nats ass !!! :2thumbs:

I guess I'm about the only one that had issues with TTI. Some of you may think that I screwed something up or did something wrong during installation but I had Chryco Psycho there to assist.  TTI headers hit the pitman arm and needed to be dinged to have enough clearance.  Then I bought the whole exhaust system including the tips and it didn't fit right either.  I had to have a piece made at a local shop to make it fit.   :brickwall:

Beware their 6.1L headers...     They were a total let down - I purchased them for their quality (have used many of their headers on big / small block mopars before with great success) but their 6.1L hemi headers are just their 5.7L headers with different flanges...   they interfere with their own motor mount plates as well as the factory mount A/C compressor
