Caught an interesting show on a channel we get called HD Theatre.  It's one of the Discovery Networks.
It's called What's My Car Worth.  I've got a bunch on DVR that I haven't see yet but one of them is supposed to be about a wing car. "Collector car expert Bill Stephens and Keith Martin of Sports Car Market Magazine appraise classic muscle cars including a Plymouth Superbird and a Mustang Mach 1."  (It was on last night, schedule below.)
The one I did watch had a Shelby and another barn find Boss 429.  Restore or not, etc.
They go through and talk about why cars are worth what they are - or not.  Pointing out non original options and so on.  It was very interesting.  I'm waiting for the Mopars to show up though.

Keith Martin owned a Superbird in the early 90's.

I saw the wing car episode yesterday. It was a 440 auto car.

They asked the owner what he'd sell for and he said 130K.

They thought that was high and said it was closer to 100K.

The owner said no way would he sell the car for that.

I watched them film an episode of that and I think I found the two days of preparation, research and retakes a lot more interesting than the finished product.
