Hi everybody!!, I going to paint my 71 Charger, I would like get an original color, blue or dark blue, does anybody
knows which brand of paint can I use to get the orgininal color?? and the codes of the colors,

The paint supply people should be able to use the original factory code and provide the correct color.  I called our local PPG supplier and told them I had a GY8 gold from 1972 and they could match it with no problem.

To your PPG supplier.... Sure - Then do a spray out and see how well it matches. Resto guys are spending more time doing spray outs and tweaks to get paint to match than bodywork. Been there - living it on every car.

Now - If you are doing the entire car and an 80% match looks ok then it isn't a problem. If you are trying to nail the original color or do a blow in - a lot of work will lie ahead.
