Front and rear window clips

Will be putting the reveal clips on the front and rear windows. Is there some sort of sealer used to keep water from seaping in the screw holes from the clips?

all i used was a tiny dab of windscreen glue/pu sealer on the back of the clip before  locating & screwing it down , if you use this stuff , wear gloves !
