Curtis, regarding your deck lid. Have you tried adjusting it at the hinge. Just a thought, but if you loosen the upper/rearward bolts you might be able to get the lid to pivot down a bit. Maybe then it will sit down a little more at the rear?  :shruggy:

Yes, and today I put some on the front. 295/50-15 in back and 245/60-15 in front. I've been wanting to do this size combination forever. I had the Smith Bros. come out and help me get the hood on and align it and the trunk lid. We also sorted out all the electrical issues. The past two days have been very productive but I'm dog tired.

Yeah, we did that today. We locked Jamie Smith in the trunk, he loosened one side at a time while we set the correct spacing from the outside and then we tightened everything down. We fooled with it for about 15-20 minutes to get it as close to perfect as possible. Even then it was still a bit off so we ended up filing a small amount of metal off one or both latch mounting holes. We also adjusted the eyebrow trim to get the overall height correct.

A few days ago I finished up the undercoating in the front wheel wells and now I'm hoping to get it to the alignment shop early next week. Took it for a slow, easy spin around the neighborhood again and asked my kid to shoot a little video.

Hey buddy, I was wondering. I 've been looking at several cars since I want to add a swaybar on my Coronet. I came to the conclusion Chrysler painted them black from the factory. Is yours silver based on preference?

Preference. Honestly I don't know what color they were from the factory. If I had to guess I'd say black. :shruggy: Mine is plated in electroless nickel. I like the color contrast under there.

Yes, it was an ACC set that was purchased by the previous owner. I assume at one point they had some trouble with the sizing and fixed it because my second set was also ACC and there was plenty to spare.

Well, I almost have enough parts to build a 2nd grill. Actually I do have enough but some of them are in bad shape. Eventually I will be restoring a 2nd grill.

That is one of many possibilities I have considered. What I'll probably do if she's outside is just stop and rev the engine while staring her down, and then slowly drive away. :D
