The glove box keeps popping open on my '68!!!

I've tried every adjustment I think there is, but it will still just pop open whenever it has a mind to.  It doesn't appear to be worn out.  Thanks, Bob

Mine 69 was doing the same thing. The glove box lock assembly was the problem. It was broken at the end causing reduced tension on the latch causing it to pop up. I bought one of these to fit it.....

yeah no kidding !! !  when i first got my charger !  found & screw at either end of the glove box door to hold it shut

Hey Chris, a little OT, could you post a picture of the rubber bumpers installed in the glove box and console box?

My 69 was notorious at that. The mount was welded too tall for the latch to fully catch. I drilled new holes and filed out the center so it would slide down and engage more...vola'
