Installing sunvisors with new headliner???

I need to install my sunvisors and the new headliner is nice and tight. How do i puncture the headliner without causing it to tear when installing the screws?

 for all that type of hardware in the headliner & carpets , i used a soldering iron with small tip  :yesnod:

x2 you can use a ice pick to find the holes and use the soldering iron with a pointed tip to seal the hole as it goes thru.
