My friend & his brother still has their jet boat with a B.B. Chevy in the ass end. About the only time they can get it out is early in the morning & the water has to be dead calm. It is stupid fast, but not very practical.

Bob T

Cool boats, I like that some of them come out of the factory with BB power

Here's a pic of my old 17'6" flatbottom raceboat , had a twin tunnelrammd 355 would do 70mph which is fair honking on the water . It had a different motor when it raced before I owned it tho. A mate of mines boat would do 112 and its not blown , stupid fast like 69rtse says . Flipped it at pace once. Hurt a lot at the time.

Good fun boats tho, just gotta bit more respect for them now. Would still like to get hold of another one tho, instant hangover cure - forcefed air and V8 noise

I've seen HEMI boats before and I personally had a 18' Python with a 460 ferd in it.  It would do over 90 MPH on the water and had no windshield.  Go to late at night and you will be picking the bugs out of your teeth.
Tomorrow is promised to NOBODY . . . .
