Poor poor Charger

This does not work for me. Especially the painted chrome, the wheels, and the alien eyes for tail lights. The motor and engine bay are great, but can't make up for the rest of the disaster. Poor Charger. :flush:

Yea, why not just put wagon wheels and be done with it  ::). There is hardly any tire on the car with those so called rims being that big. I bet if they hit a bump the rim feels it very fast through the rubber.

QuoteClose the door and buckle into the security of your 4-point harness.  Then, adjust the tilt/telescoping steering column to your comfort, grip the MOMO steering wheel, and feel the supple leather contour to your hands.

You touch the "ignition–ON" pad of the backlit Auto-Rod programmable, water and vibration proof, touch-pad racing switch panel; its light bar beams from red to green.  The soft hum of the electric vacuum pump signals that the "beast" is about to waken.

Next, touch the "Fuel–on" switch-pad; it glows from red to green; the Aeromotive fuel pump in the gas tank sump buzzes; the AutoMeter fuel pressure gauge pointer jumps to 9 pounds.  The "beast's" blood is flowing.

At last, you depress the polished stainless hydraulic clutch pedal while you touch the "STARTER–ON" switch-pad, and the 605 cubic inches of the INDY aluminum HEMI "beast" yawns and awakens with a loping growl.  Now, you tickle the Lokar billet accelerator pedal, checking the AutoMeter oil pressure gauge, and bring the RPMs up to 1400 to warm the 800 snarling horses.

The HEMI settles into a smooth idle at 900 RPM with a rhythmic rumble through its ceramic coated TTI headers, 3" pipes and DynaMax high-flow mufflers.  Your heart pounds in synch with the beat.

I am not fond of the "no chrome" look, the wheels, or the rear spoiler :eek2:

Otherwise, it's okay. But it is begging for someone to buy it and make a G.L. clone out of it,

I like it, minus the lack of chrome, the wheel size, the wing, the taillights, and the retarded price.

The worst part is the rims.  I can't stand when flashy modern crosses into classic muscle.  :brickwall:

yeah , take the rear spoiler off &  change the wheels , put the door handles back on , put a stock interior back in & some chrome bumpers & stainless trim , would be a nice 68 then  :yesnod:    :Twocents:

I don't really care for the euro/ricer look at all. The spoiler looks like they did some nice work but it's a Charger and not a Camaro.

I do like the look minus the door handles and I even thought of doing something similar years ago when I built my old one. However I was kicking around the idea of putting the 73 Corvette door handles into the top lines of the doors. (between the window and top body line as far back as I could) Two problems with that were getting the internal linkage just right and the hours of metal work on the opening for it. Water proofing/drainage was the other challenge.

There's nothing worse than having a nice paint job on your car and then having scratches/scuff marks around the door handles from people using them. I have two nice Aussie built cars that have scuff marks around the handles and it annoys me when you have a nice shiny clean car with scuff marks! The first thing I will do when my car arrives is to get rid of the door handles too.

Blakcharger440

I think the car has alot of cool stuff going on :coolgleamA: and some not so cool. I dont think the car is worthless. I think somebody wanted to fix up THEIR car the way they wanted to and for that I commend them.
Everbody cant drive the same car and thats what I thought made mopar different. Yep its not a stock rebuild and
I think that is always refreshing to see.  :2thumbs:

It is not easy try try and do something different and think out of the box....of course he could have made another
dukes clone out of it.  ::)

Black Charger

If the car would have been painted black, it would have looked killer with all of the black trim pieces. Anything else and the black just looks like they tried to save money by painting everything instead of having it chromed. I still think it's a nice car though, although the price is ridiculous.

THE CHARGER PUNK

That thing looks awesome , a little bit too much of red everywhere and that t/a spoiler but that thing looks badass and has the guts to stand up to that
