i for one am  very tired of looking online for charger parts and finding all of this general lee crap
anyones thoughts on this subject
sure buy a charger paint it orange put some stupid redneck graphics on it and the go jump it and beat the shit out of it=dumb

But ya know I live in a Huge city.......Rarely do I see 68-70 Chargers of any colors on the road...........I really only seen a few 71-74 Chargers on the road....And I have NEVER seen a General Lee on the road only at car shows...

So are they Over done?.........Dont think so....may be different way down South.....

But I would Love to own one I can only imagine the attention it would receive driving around town...

So when is the last time you seen one driving around??

Any Charger that isn't rotting in a field somewhere is a good thing no matter what color it is. A lot of 30-something guys (like myself) that grew up on DOH are bringing cars left for dead back to life...so in a way..the General Lee has helped save tons of cars that would otherwise be a Coke can right now.

That dude just offended me bid time on afew things with what they said. Not only about the General but also about rednecks and racing cars! The dude better take and do some dirt track racing studying and then they will see where the graphics came into play at. 

There is alot of people in the world that are Dukes fans (my included) and these are the type of people that saves chargers and not kill them well maybe for one guy like some us know that does events with jumping a charger and killing it. If it wasn't for the Dukes I bet alot of chargers would be like what was said before a pop can by now or a new car that has no style at all or even a rice burner. 

He ask what is all the crap about with the General Lee stuff, easy, it's a well known car, good family show with a fast muscle car in it where the whole family can watch togother and not worry about hearing foul talk in it. When you have something good going on it tens to stay around for quite some time and people ten to like it or love it and become fans of it. Kids back them is now grown ups and maybe there dream is to own a General Lee so they make one as "it makes them feel good inside" just like we all do with our chargers both the ones that needs alot of work and being work on to the ones that are trailer queens as well. We are fans of the cars and might be fans of other things also that maybe that kind of car cross's as well so that kind of person has both worlds if they chose to because of that. And when you say charger people ten to think of the Dukes car alot as it is well known. 

But this will be my only reply in this thread.

Now that I think about it.... I think I'm going to change my 01 on my doors to 02.        This will make it easier to find my car in a parking lot and make it stand out from all the other GENERAL LEE'S.

I am not a GL fan, but many here are, and they have saved a lot of cars from the crusher! We are a bunch of people here that has one thing in common..............we all like Chargers!!!! And we have a mutual respect for the variety of directions and modifications members do to their cars!!
We have ofcause different tastes and opinions about how we would like to have things, and not afraid of expressing them.........but Dude......it was your 4th post.......kinda like walking in to a room with thousands of strangers, and shout out that you think most of them are idiots!!

General Lee's don't bother me....

What bothers me is 14 year old kids who hasn't even cranked up a car with screen names always containing either Hemi-this, Daytona-that, Rarest Hemi, Awesome 1-of-a-kind Rt, SchoolBoy with 200K-Mopar....yada...yada...yada That come on here to insult hard working guys that have spent alot of time and (real) money on their rides...whether it be a Hemi car, nice driver, GL, rust bucket or whatever.
