do not think I have ever seen an actual episode of the show, so the DOH sort of eludes me as a nostalgia deal. I think the car exterior graphics and pushbar look cool, but I can't really get into the tan interiors. Too bad the interior wasnt black in the show.

my dream tribute cars would be 2 replica Mad Max Falcon XB GT...one in 'new condition' as picked up from the Bronze's garage and then a second one in full on battle damaged Road Warrior regalia. Maybe when I win the lottery.

I normally wouldn't post on this topic  (again)  but it appears that some dumbass idiot on here thinks that anyone who owns a General Lee is a toothless, uneducated, cousin-humpin', hillbilly redneck.  Who cares what you are or aren't tired of?  Who honestly....really gives a damn what your opinion is.   It's fine to have an opinion, but I don't believe you have to go and ATTEMPT to offend everyone who doesn't share your point of view....be that as shallow that it is.  Maybe we are growing MORE sick of people like you....Hmmmm...Let's weigh this one out....on one side, people who don't like GLs.....on the other side, people who are sick of assclowns like you running off at the mouth....A lot of people here don't agree with the GL concept, but at least they have enough "Non Redneck" ways of speaking their opinion.  In a nutshell...people like you really do not depict the majority of the members here.  And...we build our GLs to cherish them...not to go out and beat them to death as was posted....now THAT is a redneck way of thinking.  Now.....that being said......for the last time.....................

Hearing, or seeing General Lees everywhere is kinda like being at a car show and hearing comments like "Well, it isn't a Hemi, it's just a 440 car"...OR "WTF? I see the R/T badges, but I just looked at the numbers and it comes back to a '69 Charger with a 318?!", OR..."I can't believe you did this to a Charger" (Knowing they wouldn't have given $5.00 for it when it was found, but now that it's painted Orange, it is ruined)....Same 'ol Story..Things are popular for a reason...I'm sorry if some don't like the ones that decided to do the "Popular" version of the '69 Charger...

BTW: I had To start with a POS, as I AM a hillbilly and proud of it...I like to play with these cars and I have no money..Bad combo.. I managed to make mine happen for under $7000.00 done...

When I grow up my car will be a yellow and white combo.        BUT, I've still got just enough white trash in me to keep it a Genny Lee for a few more years.      

You guys know what I find sad about this is here is a guy that makes a post and then won't step up.        Like I've said before... If you think that the paint on these cars or stickers dictates the value of these cars, then you are a hillbilly.
