How many '69 Chargers R/T SE were made?

I just found out tonight while taking my Charger apart that it was an R/T SE. The dash is woodgrain with black spray paint over it and it had an aftermarket steeringwheel in it when i bought it but the sailpanels have two holes about 1,5" apart from each other so it must have had SE badges on there.
Does anybody knows how many'69 Chargers R/T SE were made?
I tried to find the answer on this forum and on Google but i could not find it. I'm sure somebody here will know.

Thanks in advance, Lennard

That's fantastic. :2thumbs:  The wood is expensive but reproduced.
This car was sold many years ago to somebody in Wisconsin. I now am retired and living in Florida.

oh right Y2 :drool5: :icon_smile_wink:  ,  if you have not got a fender tag etc , you can sometimes find out what color the original top was ,  ! (depending how much the car has been worked on ) the staples the factory used to hold the top in place , & behind the stainless revel moulding clips ,
so what you got planed stock type resto or ?? :popcrn:

I'm not sure yet since my opinion is that wood belongs in a boat cabin and not in a muscle car, and i don't like vynil tops plus that i don't really like the soft Yellow color and a Brown interior... and... :scratchchin:
This is what it looked like before i started taking it apart:

tan top

:coolgleamA: thats looks mean !  think i might have seen that in a video on youtube  :scratchchin:
yeah i know what your saying ! about the woodgrain ! thats what i thought when i first got mine  , but it grew on me , as it was original to the car  :yesnod: , but did think at one stage going back with the none SE pebble grain black dash facia

You mean this video from one of my first rides after i got it:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6uW0dJyMKsU
This movie is from the guy i bought it from:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1cT4hwfwT0s
Since there is not much factory original left on the car i might do it my way.

Here are the SE emblem holes i found:

I also found out that it once was a console car:

And yet another question, where is this button for on the left and right side in the headliner?

Lennard

Thanks, was that an option or standard on R/T SE?

The shoulder belt was standard on all cars in 69. Nobody ever used them but there they are!

The wood is for a boat comment is funny.  I gotta say I always loved the wood, in fact I don't like the black pepple plastic.  If Ma Mopar put it in there, it's o.k for me.   :2thumbs:

tan top, Isnt that a crime about what happened to that car!  I vote for taking it back to Y2.  :icon_smile_big:  You can skip the poop brown interior though, black is just fine.   :Twocents:

My Daytona clone was made from a 69 RT/SE tripple black car.  I guess that makes it a tripple black RT/SE Daytona :scratchchin: 1 of 1 I might add :icon_smile_big:
