found a small leak from the pinion seal , removed it and looked on rock auto for a new seal .
it seems there are a few different sizes for a dana 60  and an 8 3/4 . but there is only one size for an 8 1/4 witch is what i have .
i'm i reading this correctly ?

if you inspect your old seal, you should find a number on it. it may be small so look close. you can have napa or any GOOD parts house cross it over. seals are cheap. no sense paying shipping when you can get one where you live. make sure the seal riding surface on your yoke is smooth. if it has a large groove in it, you can install a speedy sleeve on it.
