I got an email from "UPS of America" saying something I sent could not be delivered, (from January 7) when you click on the attachment to see details....it's a virus. (My AVG caught it and warned me so I deleted it) If I wasn't tired after working all day I would have smelled a rat and got more info to pass on. Just passing it on to you guys.  ;)

This has been going around for a while now... Funny thing is it's 100% realistic looking and when you mouse-over the link it makes it LOOK legit... You sit there thinking "Hmmm, what did I ship that weighs only 1 lb??"

they are getting creative, I'll give'm that much...

Yup. Probably techs at Norton writing them too. It's like the pharmaceutical companies; they conjure up a disease and then make the cure at about the same time. ;)

I've always thought that, and tell people the same thing every day.. they like to blame "12 year olds in India" for these viruses when in reality it's the programmers for Norton/MacAfee/CA writing these things , distributing them then having a "big sale" on their products!!!!

Wow, even the hackers can't get jobs here. Interesting conspiracy theory we've unearthed: virus software companies outsource jobs to 12-year-old Indian kids to write viruses only the US virus software companies can protect us from. It's a self-perpetuating business with guaranteed profits.

I don't see how it couldn't be happening.  Years ago I was always told the outfits who made radar guns for L.E. also made the radar detectors.

In some third world countries, its legal business to write a virus, then ask for money to fix it.
