Exhaust Poll!

Just wondering what peoples' opinions are of whether to have a H-pipe and/or resonators?

I'm cloning a '71 Superbee but I'm not a stickler to conforming to authenticity!    I have a 440 4bbl w/headers.......

Looking for some thoughts.........Thanks!!

If originality isn't an issue then go with an "X" pipe.

I will be going 1 7/8 Headers, 3" exhaust with X pipe and 2 sweet thunder mufflers with nice looking pipes.

but i went with a H pipe  as i think it looks better , more stock looking

I had the X pipe and liked it.  Had to go with a H pipe when I got the Gear Vendors O/D.  Bob

Thanks very much for the input......seems the overwhelming consensus is X-pipe!    I'll post a sound clip in the future after I hang the exhaust!  .
