What is the single support item you most wish you could add to your garage?

I was at my cousins shop last night and he is one of those guys who has every piece of equipment know to man and it made me wonder what the one thing is that I would really like to add to my own space.  For me it has to be a hoist.  There are other things I wish I had like better heating and cooling but really at the end of the day it comes down to a hoist and I know it is the one thing I am least likely to buy.

Ok, I picked that because... I really want a welder and/or some sort of lift but both of those would be with the assumption that I will be doing a lot of work on the cars. I'm not much of a mechanic and I'm to the point where I'd rather have drivable (and hopefully reliable) cars. I can have someone else do the mechanical work for anything that requires a lift. A floor drain would come in handy for washing the cars but also for washing the shop, cleaning various car parts (especially the ones stored near any body work), wet sanding, and draining the garage from salt/snow/rain runoff or roof leaks(hopefully not). Plus, unlike a lift or a welder, a floor drain is very hard to retrofit so if I could have one installed prior to moving in I think it would be a big bonus. My current garage is on flat ground and one part of the floor is actually sunken so water basically pools and I can't use a squeegee or broom to push it out.

I guess it wouldn't be as important if you don't have running water in your garage (which I do).

I'd just like to have a Garage..Right now, it's a pole barn with a gravel floor, that is drafty in the winter(FREEZING) and hot as the hinges of hell in the summer...

Cheap ones are out there. I scored mine for 600 bucks and installed it myself.
You can just see the blue uprights inside the garage.

Bob, you have a 4 post or a 2 post lift?  we have a 4 post lift at my dads house and double stack the cars.  Nice and easy, just drive on and lift up, no worries about where to set the lift either.

It's a 2 post. I can not take the cars or trucks up all the way because of the 10' rafters.

I know the new ones can be purchased for under 2k.  I can't get one in my garage due to a large support beam running across the roof.  I only have about 7' clearance
