LOL... well sounds like a joke and maybe it could be but it could be more true that you think.

I have noticed I have inverted HOURS AND HOURS analizing and making diagrams here and there ( several boards ), about electrical systems. Also about lot of stuff more, posting about parts some of ppl doesn't find and I search  and find, etc...

Even I really enjoy making it, and is really GREAT make happy and help ppl around, I really will be gratefull If I get some help from you now, and is not more than get some small donations to keep my car resto/mantenience.

Bieng my car a Driver, is actually needing replacement parts that could it be out of the rebuilt project funds. Those unexpected thing happens to a regular use car.

I got this idea since because Venezuelan Goverment limits to buy ooutside the country is hard to me sometime get some replacement and rebuilding parts.

Since I have got LOT OF PMs and EMAILS allong the years giving me thanks for the help, and offering anything I need to get help, well maybe this will be the best way to help me ?

as stated, all the help I provide will still be free, and I'm happy with it (REALLY), but if you want to help me out on something I will take ANY donation from you guys to get replacement parts I'm needing and I could need in the future.

what parts do you need Nacho?  We could find them and send them to you.  would that help?  Sometimes its easier to come up with parts from someone vs coming up with cash to donate.

Paul has a good point and idea too. In this miserable global economy there is a greater possibility of sending parts you need rather than very scarce cash. WELL, get parts is more expensive for everyone, don't you think?

what I meant is for example... If I drink all the beers offered for the help I have done on a next meeting I can go, I would it be DRUNK AND WON'T ENJOY THE SHOW... LOL... preffer to save the beers money you buy for some parts i could need ( and I'll pay the beers at next meeting WITH PLEASURE LOL )

I'M NOT ASKING FOR CHARITY OR SOME WAGE FOR THE INFO I POST... just wants to convert the help and beers offered through PMs, Emails or threads in some small funds, what will make everything together to buy some specific part I could need... for example:


For example two weeks ago my Chromed ECU box went bad, and that wasn't on my budget to get a new one. I only can spend $400 by year on OnLine deals with my Credit Card with Goverment regulations about money exchange. You see ? $70 for the Chromed ECU, is around a 15-20% budget cut what I was thinking on get to keep the project advancing( AC condenser, Decent mufflers, Exhaust valves and some more miscelaneous stuff ). If you think my car is a driver, ANYTIME I can get a mechanical fail that will cut the project just by getting regular mantenience parts coming from USA. Some stuff is available down here, but some stuff not. I can get regular ECU box and is the one I had to mount to save the problem, but not a Performance one that I wanted to keep. TO MAKE THIS REAL, I would have to wait untill next year to get it, or sacrifice some of what I had in mind to get this needed part and still wait ONE YEAR for that.

sometimes I can use my dad's Credit Card or some friend's Credit Card, But I use to use those to cover shipping fees and keep my quote clean on just parts as posible

Sure Chryco, Ron, John Kunkel and more are guys what has been more helpfull than me, that's a fact. Is just that I want to convert the help back offers in something more... "real" maybe ? dunno if that will be the right therm LOL

Damn... ppl on Moparts is really rough with some judgements! This reminds me some situations on the past

get some parts could it be also someway to help... I could make a lis of that small parts and post the the wanted section. Of course I have got that kind of help from several guys in teh past ( RD, Greatwhitenorth73, mikesbbody... damn I don't remember everyone... even Cudaken! )

is just that small ammounts of money will make some funds for some suddenly emergency for small parts

If friends can't talk to friends (and think out loud which I took your post as)  like Nacho has always treated us all here with his help and expertise to xxx with them. I visit the a few boards and post on only 2. I have never met anyone of you in person, and have talked to a few on the phone. I still have learned more from my mopar friends here then any where else.
I will also jump to papal and offer parts and or parts gathering.

its late, i am tired, but i F'n hate those F'ers on moparts.  they are the biggest pit of iceholes i have ever seen in my entire life.  they all truly feel that their opinion is the only one, and whatever they disagree with should be pissed on and tossed out.  those guys SHOULD be fricken chevy guys and leave the real, supportive, mopar family stick together.  someone hack moparts, send those people viruses, and wipe out their computers.  I will pay you money for that, i promise

Below is a reply I just posted on moparts right below Jamey's. It is shameful how some members over there treat fellow members. I know Tom who owns the board and he seems like a stand up guy. It's sad to see what has happened to that board.

Your Bang on !! There must be a few Chevy guys on board over at Moparts , The utter lack of Class and understanding is incredible.
  I'm sure Nacho's been sitting with a huge knot in his gut. Either way as I stated on the Moparts thread . I would help Nacho as I would help any other Mopar or Car enthuisiast . Cripes I've never met Nacho and the chance is I never will , But I have a heart and I'm compassionate enough too understand his plight and have no reason not to help him out.
  The way I see it ...it's like passing it forward. eventually it will come back too you. and if it dosn't thats OK too. Because it made me feel better just helping out !

I also think there might be some cultrual differences...or he is being honest and is just asking for help. Or maybe both..either way I don't see a problem with it. He has it a bit harder than us. I think we do it differently here. Instead of money we give parts..I've gotten so many free parts its amazing. Sg unit from mike, housing and axles from ron, even 2ng gen trim from jeff, even nacho threw some goodies in with the sway bar links he sent to me. Its just impossible to get some things to him...or crazy expensive. So he asks for help in another way..its all good.

Back when my whole GL saga started, I tried posting over there (similar to here). Not even a DAY into the thread , and about 20 replies, my topic was deleted with no warning. I posted a thread asking where my topic went and was told that "it wasn't what anyone wanted to read about" over there...    Oh yeah, ok, saving some other poor sucker from buying a crapper like I did isn't "worth it". Thanks guys, I'll never be back

After years on the Corvette Forum and years of watching guys with "new and better" models trashing those under them finally got to me.. I can't understand how people think they are any BETTER than anyone else.. We're all human, we all have the same hobbies, we just aren't all fortunate enough to live in an area (or country) that allows us the freedom we've learned to take for granted...  But gee, let's trash those that aren't just like us..

well guys... You know I am very gratefull with this site and most important PROUD OF THE PPL of this board. I know that I don't have problems around here.

Honestly I don't care about the stuff being said there. Even if just 20% of the ppl there worths the effor to help/talk/chat, I'll be ready to do it without problems. They aren't guilty of the rest.

Who cares if ppl on that thread keep talking about, That will keep the thread bumped LOL. And as far Moparts... well I basically being member there just when I needed some guy in Indiana to Pick up the NOS quarter panel I won on ebay and THERE IS A GUY AT MOPARTS who not only picked up the quarter panel ( his father really ) like ALSO GAVE THE RIDE UP TO MIAMI,  because by casuality his parents live in Indianapolis and he lives in Homestead ( one hour from Miami ). And not only that, He gave me the permision to use his home as a shipping address to get everything together and then he delivers to any international courier addressed in Miami. In fact I meet him perosnally because by his job he had to Travel to Caracas and we met personally ( beside he bring me up a MP distribuitor I did need urgency ). Everything of that it was at Moparts. Just ONE GUY worths the try to become on member there! and is/was enough for me.

And happilly also ppl there has been using me to be helped on anything I can help!!! That is fun to me and makes me happy.

I posted a reply recently talking about how I started around. You know it, but ppl, there not.

I don't care about the BS can be said. Remember I have had also some BS around here ( couple of times ) and lucky for me those threads weren't blocked. I'm not agree with that kind of stuff being blocked just because ONE reason: Longer the BS being said, more reason to be filtered by the same members. Everyone will judge by itself and will take its own opinion. Democracy works in that way. Stuff falls by itself. When something is wrong, it doens't need help to fall.

Of course Moderators are needed because there is a red line needed to keep away from trespassed ( sp? ), but tolerance about that must be the rule before that. You can not to be a censor, just a moderator. Just my opinion why that thread doesn't need to be blocked
