Thought Trident Cinnamon Gum Was NS-1

I'm not a big candy or gum consumer, but once in awhile I'll buy Trident gum, & only the cinnamon flavor. I didn't notice at first, but the cinnamon seemed to always be out of stock no matter where I went. After some time I wondered if other gum chewers jumped on the band wagon I was on & created a shortage, or was it discontinued & declared NS-1 like all the Mopar parts did in the late 70's. Finding a good replacement cinnamon gum was just as hard as finding good replacement Charger parts for my '69 SE in the early 80's. Unlike trying buying a Mustang or Camaro to replace the Charger, I tried other brands of gum. I didn't like the other brands & figured that I would have to take up cigarettes.

So the other day after shoveling snow, I was on line at the convenience store waiting to pay for my coffee & contemplating which brand of cigarettes might be cinnamon flavored when I spotted a maroon colored pack of Trident cinnamon gum.  :o  Wow, they brought it back so I'll remain smoke free!

Trident Cinnamon Gum Now Available
Trident Cinnamon Gum has been on the short list for some time now.  We have been fortunate and able to secure an additional supply of this hard to find yet delicious chewing gum. As many of you gum chewers know Trident Cinnamon Gum is no longer being manufactured.  The product allegedly is being reformulated.  From what we hear at the candy shows the new formula will be available later in the year 2007 or early 2008.

While we can no longer get the value pack configuration we are still able to stock the 5 stick 18 pack per box configuration.  We were out of stock a few weeks ago, however through some hard work on my dad's part (go Ron) he was able to get some additional product.  Our commitment to our customers is we will keep ordering it and hold it for you so it is here when you are ready to buy.  We currently have about 50 boxes in stock.  We have a complete line of Trident chewing gum as well as many other chewing gum products.  Some other very popular brands are Eclipse gum and Orbit gum.  We also have a great collection of traditional Wrigley gum as well.

Chewing gum is great stuff.  Customers tell me it helps them stop smoking, over eating and eases stress.  I know we chew a ton of it in our house.  My favorite is the Trident Watermelon Twist.  If you do not see the flavors you are looking for online just give me a call.  We have all the popular brands.  I just run out of bandwidth when updating the website.  I promise, if our online sales get big enough I will hire a professional webmaster until then we have to deal with me.  Ahh it's not so bad.

So it was simply reformulated? Tastes the same to me.

I was able to buy it not that long ago. I must have unknowingly been buying NOS Trident for a while.
