Hey, all. I've been reading for some time now and finally decided to join.

I'm a lifelong Mopar enthusiast and former owner of quite a few Chargers and other Mopars, although circumstances leaves me without one at present. I still love them and enjoy reading about every aspect.

Hopefully, the future will allow me to own another one I can run the wheels off of.

Unfortunately, no.

I had several albums full, from various shows, three trips to the Mopar Nats and 'in-progress' shots of cars I had over the years, but the ex-wife kept all of them in the divorce... along with my house and '68 Charger R/T.

Yep...  :flame:

Divorce sucks if you're the guy.

I gave up a whole list of stuff... tools, parts, assorted Mopar bits and pieces I'd accumulated over the years.

I've been gone going on 20 years now... as far as I know, she's still got it.

 :-\ That sucks. Welcome anyway.
This car was sold many years ago to somebody in Wisconsin. I now am retired and living in Florida.

Welcome '71...Yep, this is why I made sure that what's mine before the "Transfer of ownership" title was signed, stays mine after the fact in case i ever have to go through the "Big D" and I don't mean Dallas....

i never get that in a divorce.. meaning.. WTH is she going to do with the shit anyway?  Its not like she worked on the fricken car(s).  I mean.. you didnt fight her for the kitchen utensils did you (assuming she actually cooked)?  Women suck major butt when they get all EVIL on a guy in a divorce.  No offense, but I hate your ex-wife.

Nope, kept my testicles, and kept my new (at the time) Dakota 4x4.

On the plus side... she got no share in my job pension, and I got away with no alimony or house payments. At the time, the R/T was worth about 7500-8000. I figured I would easily save more than that over the years not having to make those payments, so it seemed like a reasonable trade-off at the time. Who could have known prices for those cars would explode they way did from '03 to '05? ...even more so, the prices of some parts I had squirreled away. Coulda, woulda, shoulda.

So now I have to be content with model building and living vicariously through you guys until I can afford one of my own.
