i know they were specifically used for hemi engines in nascar rangin from say 1969-1974  -MATT

FYI - I don't see anything after 1965 that would qualify as the "bathtub" style.

I should also mention that these would be nearly useless on a street-driven car.

Well lets be logical here, thats $3,000 for the intake, and another $4,000 for the air cleaner. So all in all how bad is $7,000 for the top of a HEMI?

Heck yeah its a bargain. Now if I can talk my wife into $7,000 for christmas I'll be set. Then all I have to do is explain to her after then is that I need a HEMI to mount those on.

Sorry I can't help you with bathtub intakes as I just learned about them myself, since you started this thread.  Never heard of them prior to this - stupid me!

I wouldn't say that's "all" you do. Many times you ask a questions so you can tell someone else they are wrong. It helps if you actually learn instead of criticize (remember the Cotton Owens Daytona?). You never actually believe you're wrong about anything which makes you an easy target too.

Yes, you can dream. Dreaming is different than stating what you are going to do as a fact. Reality requires money and/or skill.

There is nothing wrong with dreaming of owning a car one of these days. I dream every day about owning a 69 Daytona 4 speed car. I too also purchase parts to cars before I get the cars. Case in point I had chrome A pillar pieces for a 500/Daytona before I ever had a 500. I bought a Daytona wing a few years back, still don't have a Daytona. I have a 4 speed console, but no 4 speed car. So yes this site is for people who have a dream, and yes it is also for people who want to share information and ask questions. Or at least I thought it was. If its not, then I'm in the wrong place.
