Still not done - been kind of on hold the last year or so. Going back to factory original when it finally gets done. I almost bought it last year.....still thinking about it but some other iron would have to go.

By the way - Does the storage look familiar?

nascarxx29

When I sent him a original scissors jack it was at Rogers

Still there....on hold - That is where all these pics are from.

So is that the same place you had the HEMI 500 at before selling it Jim? Looks like they tend to keep some pretty nice old Mopar Iron laying around in that storage shed.

Talked to Gene tonight, seems I missed out on quite a bit of information the other weekend, i'll have to try to make a solo trip of my own in the not so distant future.

Hey Danny - And that's the outside stuff - You should see what's inside!

That's the white Daytona 4-speed next to it.

Come on up anytime....Good excuse to go to Moparfest as well if you want to wait until then.

How about the noses that I had 1 for the car - another spare. If Only I kept all this stuff  :brickwall:

69_500

Moparfest would be great, but I don't think I can hold out that long. I'm impatient ya know.

Nice collection of nose cones, reminds me of my dad's garage when i was little. I remember a pair of spare nose cones on shelves in the garage, along with the 5 that were on the cars. Heck I thought everyone had wing cars in the their back yards.

nascarxx29

Some friends from here in NJ head up and raved to me about moparfest.I will try to make it a double header .Can I come up and see the cars you got up there Jim

No problem - come on up! Tell those Jersey Boys to bring the lobsters and steaks!

69_500

Yup Dave that would be a picture of one of the spare nose cones from the garage. Thanks for posting.

According to Tony (and maxwellwedge's well-placed sources ;) ), it's headed for the paint booth later this spring.

IMHO, That's too bad! The car would stand out more with the graphics and the story of the history of the car. If there were a few daytonas at a show and this one was there, all restored to factory, it would blend in with the others.
Of course it is the owner's car, he can do with it what he likes!

It still has those "Easy Access" spark plugs though - That should help set it apart a little...

69_500

Yeah even if its back to factory it still has the nice little emblem on the door that SCREAMS LOOK AT ME.

And its a Daytona.  I mean who doesn't look at every one of those at a show.
