Anyone ever seen other than this blue on this daytona collectible

I heard rumor of a clear glass daytona decanter from avon if you were a dealer.By another friend of mine collector .But only have found the same blue regardless if you had the after shave or pre shave versions.My girlfriend sold avon back in the day .And said salesman might have got a dealer only promotional special .She wasnt sure but thinks she seen the same daytona bottles I have in clear glass.Can anbody confirm or deny that there is a clear one out there waiting to be found

I have one and I thought that it was black, but now that I've looked at it again, I realize that it's blue. I see them occasionally at swap meets. Never seen a clear one.

I also have a whack of blue ones.The clear ones do exist.Not sure of the story behind them.I saw a clear one on e-bay a couple years ago.Saved the pic some where.

I have attached a picture of my AVON STOCK CAR RACER COLLECTION. They are all dark blue and most of them full! I do have one that is not seen often! It is the top box on the left stack! It is labeled SPICY AFTER SHAVE and has 150ml instead of the usual 5oz. I am told it was for some over seas market! Now for my take on the clear glass decanters. I've heard the old wifes tale on the clear ones being dealer only. This may be partially true. But I also heard that the clear ones were like test or development decanters and only a few made not a bunch for any dealer that wanted one. I have gone to a lot of sales and a lot of auctions and never seen 1 clear of the STOCK CAR RACER series! Good luck on finding one!

Thanks for the info the Spicy I dont think I have it .I had a guy who claimed he had a clear one but not for sale .So Id settle for a picture and he never got me one .Search goes on for the clear .I thought finding the plaster Joe Higgins dodge safety sheriff was gonna be tough.He was easy to find.Same goes for the SSP superbirds .But this clear bottle is proving to be tough to find

The plastic wing just pops on and off.   They all had them when new.

As to a clear version, I've never seen one, but a pre-production sample in clear would not surprise me.

I had one with a white wing....   Actually molded in white!   Got it from a Avon rep in the 80s.
