Daytona R/T SE

That '70 looks cool with that coronet grill in it.

Makes you think that's what a '70 500 would have looked like if Dodge had stayed with the "Areo" theme. :scratchchin:

A friend of mine has been telling me about this guy that lives near him with a few Mopars. Sent me a couple pics, I don't know how recent the pics are.. I need to make a trip and check these out.

nit picking here,.
there's no HEMI plate on the front fender or DAYTONA lettering on the white stripe, and the wheels on the red one are the mid '70s style with no fender trim... and side exhaust?..
back to the green one,.. the A pillars look thick... and the hood pins are drilled into the fender. What kinda' MOPAR guy would do that?.  :rotz:
I say we leave now. I'm ready!  :icon_smile_wink:

I don't think the hood pins are drilled into the fender..it's just the top plate lying on the fender. A pillars could be painted flat black due to missing vinyl top in the area - makes it look thicker

That 70 Charger has an interesting latch tray in between the core support and grille as 70 chargers did not come with anything like that....it looks more like a daytona type of latch tray??? But it doesnt matter because that 70 is just really cool!!!!!  :2thumbs:  I have only seen one other 70 charger like that and if I remember correctly it was blue.

I wonder how he did it?

There are photos of that Daytona lurking around on line here from way back. The 70' charger with the hemi though is new for sure, very cool. The battery size in the charger looks like its made for a big ole truck.
Hey, you can hate the game but don't hate the player.
