Check your closets! 41,300.00 for a video game?

After seeing an old Nintendo game console sell for 13,000.00 bucks on yahoo.com I had the kids check on line, my son found a new in the wrapper version of "Stadium Events" for NES just sold for 41,300.00 on eBay! Explain that to your wife! (and we question what we spend sometimes!)

An old NES video game is worth the price of a brand new fullsize truck? 

Just the gray plastic cartridge and some packaging?

Yup some crappy old game! It came with a pad you stepped on to control the action, I guess most were chucked long ago. It came with the game (like "Duck hunt" was!) That's why I posted this, if anyone has one in a box somewhere they are big bucks to "collectors". The sleeve it came in is worth 11,000.00 alone! This one was still in the wrapper and had an unused pad.

yeah, me too, starting bid is one bazillion..  I'm floored much like Mike DC

I don't have one but somehow there is a game cube in my basement...is that one pretty new? or old?

HA. I can just imagine the console collectors ranting now! 


One of these things sells for a trillion bucks and now everyone with a broken NES and 3 crappy games thinks theirs is worth a bazillion.
