The commercial I saw way up here was a 70......probably aged during the travel time...

mauve66

well i was looking at the hood and it was definitely a 68-69 with the air grabber, not the square box air grabber of the 70-72 or so, didn't get to check out the tail lights though sooooo???

I'd say the marker lights clinch the deal, it's a 1969.

They have another comercial where you get a clear coming at you front end shot.
This car was sold many years ago to somebody in Wisconsin. I now am retired and living in Florida.

terrible one

I'm pretty sure the brand is Wendy's. They had a commercial last year with a yellow 70 Superbee or Coronet so someone there must like Mopars :2thumbs:

Ghoste

They are headquartered in Columbus, maybe someone has been hanging around Brice Road in August?

mauve66

yes it was wendy's , i saw it today, the whole car is primered so i couldn't tell from the hood which year it was, only way to easily tell to me is the # of headlights and side marker lens

Have not seen that commercial. I am sure the one I'm thinking about is BK and the driver is a creepy sort - kinda like the king and everything BK! The car is a 70 RR or clone with A/Grabber and is white.

mauve66

the wendys one is about the blue-cheese burger and a guy runs by and steals it from the RR driver while in the drive through, then the RR driver goes after him

4 headlamps. I thought 69 when I saw it. The head on shot is the guy pulling away from the drive thru window.

Ha! I love seeing old Mope's in tv commercials. I wouldn't mind one of those blue cheese burgers right about now either :drool5:

Saw the commerical last night for the first time... All the exterior shots were of that primer '69.. But, there was one or two interior shots of either a '69 Superbee or '70 Roadrunner  Had the "rallye" dash, as we all know, wasn't in '69 'Runners.......

Not white socks and shorts, too big T shirt and baseball cap :slap:
