Amen brother!  I agree with you 110%   America is always the first to the rescue, yet when 9-11 happened, who came to our aid?  We had people from all over OUR own country come to help the people in NY yet I didn't hear one single out sourced country chime in to help out.  Maybe its time that we start focussing on our own issues here at home.  Say..... the homeless vets or disabled vets?

really not wanting to be political, but if you want to be the world leader, that's one of the steps. Acting everytime needed and not only when some interest in the middle

beside that you have the Army, Tools, Equipment, Organization, whatever able to help like anyone in the world.

Save the money being used on "Wars" and use on these cases ( inside and outside ), and things will gonna change ( valid for any country, but allmost an uthopy )

AAAAND, yes, USA has been helped in the past, just that not too much countries have the same action power than yourself

    Peru is in no way Haiti, for example within minutes of the 8.8 yesterday the President was on the tube, while it was a entire month after the Haitian quake I first saw their President.
And seriously?..   the entire world tries to support the folks in these horrific natural disasters,the US is simply better able than most of the world.

not really, 2 diff countries, with diff mentality. They are in fact on limits ( Border ) problems with Bolivia in the middle of the deal. Chile is in mostly of the experts opinions the most social and economical advanced country on the region.

AAAAH!!!, South america, great sub region... NOT ... but the nature beauty and the richness potiential ( not on our pockets )
