well after the carnival days and some extra vacations days where I got fun at  a Car show and Contest ( 9 hours driving from home, 90-95 MPH average speed ) finally got home very tired.

The goods:
-Won the first place as best Muscle car
-Shared several days with good friends

The bads:
-Broken MP Chromed ECU box ( had to replace with a regular aftermarket piece I got at a parts shop )
-Weird metallic noise under the car, ungaged or not, IT LOOKS coming from tranny
-overheating... not enough to stop broken at the road, but something to get worried.
-MISSED HUBCAP ON THE ROAD :flame:... just left the outer ring where it mounts the rest of the hubcap

Then I'm still having some hard vibrations around, and the differential winning( sp? ), but that's something I still had to work on before the trip. Tried to fix just right before the trip, but wasn't enough.

Step by steep will be reading to get updated on the new threads missed this last 10 days. More pics later too

( yes, there is another Charger at my side  :icon_smile_big: )

90-95 mph for 9 hours straight is bound to have some negative impact on a 35 year old car.

yeah, well, is not the first time I make this trip. Sometimes I was at 75 mph, some other times at 105, but then I was getting vibrations around so I released gas pedal on that moment, so I can say 90 Mph as average speed, with 2 stops for gas ( spent around 2 tanks and a quarter ) I think temperature in some areas I travelled where close to 38º Celsious. Riding with A/C.

Ghoste

Under those conditions I'd say the car did great!  And congratulations to you and the Charger for the trophy as well.

Ghoste

Is that going to be one of those parts that seems impossible for you to replace?

welll I think it could be found locally. I know a guy who has three of them, former friend, not anymore, now more enemies than friends so won't run to him to search one. I have some friends in another cities with the chance to find it.

Right now there are some on ebay, very cheap, but will try locally first.
