You would think to include a pic of the new hemi if your starting price is 34 grand. Someone will buy it and open the hood and be very angry. that doesnt look like new carpet and I dont see the roll cage either. sounds like a scam.

Exactly, if you've seen the "real" General Lee's, they are worse than this one...And, they are valued at quite bit more..One owner of said "real" GL, kept and preserved the original Bondo popping out of the quarter panels...

I haven't noticed any either, and I have lived here most of my life.

I have also not noticed the vast amounts of palm trees here in Indiana, which appear in the background of the Elenore picture.

I could not believe a credible business would just copy and paste pictures they found on the internet, and pass them off as their own work.  :scratchchin:

I saw a real movie set General Lee and it had the ugly tan dye/paint sprayed liberally over the interior. But if I had a new Hemi crate engine for the car, I think I would have added a picture of it, and why no pics of the engine bay?

I think that car was in the Sacramento (California) Autorama a couple of weeks ago.  John Schneider was standing in front of it selling autographed photos of himself.  I remember the car because I thought it was kind of strange that they had painted the entire dashboard tan.

John Schneider touched our 1 year old granddaughter and commented about what a cute baby she was.

He has been doing that for years.  I met him at Mopar Nationals the last year it was in Indy back in around 1996.  It was $10.00 for a 8X10 and he would personalize it for you right there and would sign anything else you brought with you for free.  He also has his own E-Bay store and sells autographed Dukes memorabilia.

That's generally how it works at those kinds of events, even with a lot of small time older celebs.

Schnieder isn't known to be asking people for money for an autograph if they just ran into him at the supermarket or something.   But it's different when celebs are at scheduled events like car shows and they're paid to appear & advertised ahead of time.

Brock Lee

He was at a Route 66 car show 4 years ago and his assistant was boasting how the guy sold 300 signed diecast General Lee cars alone over the weekend. That guys autograph must be damn near worthless. When he dies there will be tens of thousands of things sold by him over the years hitting the market at once.

Mike DC

Ain't that the truth.

Any DOH fan still seeking his autograph by now has been asleep for the last 10 years.

Black Charger

I kind of find it hard to criticize John Schneider simply because he is the reason a lot of us younger guys became interested in Chargers in the first place. Until the Dukes of Hazzard came along, the Charger was simply just another used car that was easily available. The popularity of the General Lee changed all that. Forever.

Pretty much the same for just about any celebrity nowadays.
