My '70's packed up and ready to go and from what I hear, the C500 is getting picked up tomorrow.. It's really happening !!!

Before anyone freaks.... Pete's the one who suggested I attach the brackets to the sheetmetal as well....  :icon_smile_big:

i don't understand that at all. is the windshield out or something? what's the purpose of the OSB?

The back glass is out.. The front windshield is in the car........ I'm trying to seal the back of the car from weather. I have a plastic drop cloth under the OSB and the edges taped off......

Yeap.. That was Pete's suggestion. For him, welding the tiny holes will be a peice of cake. Believe me, I treaded doing it........

Me too... Looks like the '70 will still be here when the C500 comes a knockin', hopefully Friday. That's the scheduled date of arrival. First clitch, they slightly bent the lower driver's side radiator core support... Grrrrrrrrrr  :rotz:  Driver's assistant...

But Pete seems to think it'll be an easy fix with a 2x4 and hammer..

  O come on you two guys    Danny and stuart  You just need to flip a coin to see who gets my Daytona  But what about the 500 both of you have one.  Tell you what Im going to do , I will fill up the Daytona with some good Ol 110 gas  get her all cleaned up  have it reedy to go to the winner of the coin toss. Oh I'd gladly take the C500 as well Jay. 3 car garage, and only 1 car in it right now so room for the both of them. :) That would be a lot of R4 red in one room though, but I think I could survive.

No need to fill the car up Jay. It will be many many many years before I can talk ya out of it all proper like so go ahead and continue to use whatever fuel you usually run in it for the time being. But if your just itching to get rid of it ASAP let me know. I'll save a nice spot in the garage for it.
