Where can I get a gas tank fot a 1974 Charger? Does the 71-73 gas fit it?

the 71/72 tanks are different.  I believe a 73/74 tank is the same or very similar.  Most resto parts guys have them.  Sometimes you luck out too and just try your local NAPA or Bumper to Bumper too.  Thats where I got mine.

If not try Vans, PG&E, B/E&A, tony's, Mega Parts, or year one.

A 73 is also different then a 74. The 74 has an expansion dome on the top that houses a vapor liquid separator, which is an important part of the evaporation control system. This is why there is a bump in the floor of the trunk. There are two on ebay and I've seen them on the Paddock and Year One websites.

Kramer offered the best price I got from a dealer for my tank. Less than $250 ( I think it was in fact $217 plus some fees I can't remember right now )... well it was at Carlisle 2008, but prices on the web haven't been changed since those days
