Yeah, that's still my favorite.  Even non-car-guys will laugh at that one.

Honestly, it seems like a lot of damaged just coming from a tire.  How many tires have blown out at highway speed and caused less damage?  Almost seems like it might have been staged or that there was steel issues since the whole trunk lid is moved back and the rear bumper cover has paint damage to the center of it.  Something just doesnt add up as there seems to be way too much damage just from one tire.

it looks like the tire failed at the bead, which is not normal (typically just the tread comes off). the entire rubber then flailed around doing heaps of damage.

Sounds like what happend to my Charger a few years ago. Normally I think of these cars as being tanks but I had a bad blow out that tweaked my passenger side fender so bad I didn't know if I could ever get it fixed again. The little Chrysler pinstar got ripped off and the fender curled inward toward the door and the upper section of the wheel well got pushed in. The side marker got ripped out completely as well. I was only going about 35 MPH.

Holy Cow that was funny!!! That guy was lucky too, the tire could have come through the t-top.
