UDF paint code

Why is there an upper door frame paint code on a (2nd gen) Charger's fender tag? The UDF is covered by the plastic upper door panel piece. The color never gets seen unless you take the upper door pad off.
Is the bottom portion of the door (the section not covered by the door panel but visible from inside the car) supposed painted the UDF color?
