Hey Guy's and Gal's
I'm trying to plan My Honeymoon with My future wife.
We wanted to go to the Virgin Islands. ( ST Croix )
I thought booking a trip would be as easy as visiting My local travel agent.
The People I have talked to act like They have never heard of the Islands. :brickwall: They have no info to offer, I left several agents wondering how They stay in business.
I Guess I will book the flights and hotels Myself, But I was wondering if Anyone Knows of a good deal, Or what hotel I should look for.
Have Any of You ever been there????
Thanks for any advise.

Didn't know they even had travel agents any more.  No real need for them.
Priceline  www.priceline.com
Hotwire www.hotwire.com
Orbitz www.orbitz.com
Travelocity www.travelocity.com

You can get a package on line all day long, shop around you'll get it cheap.  Pay attention to fees in the fine print.
Life isn't Father Knows Best anymore, it's a kick in the face on a saturday night with a steel toed grip kodiak work boot and a trip to the hospital all bloodied and bashed.....for reconstructive surgery. But, what doesn't kill us, makes us stronger, right?

Khyron

it's because it's 2010, they aren't Virgin's anymore.

What do you want to do? Golf, snorkel, hike, stay all day in your bungalo...? :D  Figure that out first, and then look for accomodations. The internet is there for the asking. I cruised the Islands in '08 and had a great time. I've attached a photo I took of a pretty memorable dive off of St. Thomas.  :2thumbs:  (she was our divemaster.... ;) )

Edit: the photo was taken with a Sealife DC500, 2560x1920 - 2.33 MB, 10.6 mm, 1/97s - F/3.8, strobe flash w/diffuser

Thanks Guy's
I haven't traveled in a long time.
The last time I tried priceline ,orbitz, hotwire Etc, You had to agree to pay at the time of booking but You didn't have a choice of what airline or departure times.
They have really changed a lot.
I guess I need to stay up with the times.
I looked at the links that Mikepmcs sent and found some good deals.
Thanks  :2thumbs:
