Easiest way to make parking lights stay on? 68 Charger

Hi Everyone,

What is the easiest way to make the front parking lights/ turn signals stay on when the headlights are on in a 68 Charger? Jumping the terminals on the headlight switch is probably the most elegant, but it's hard to get to. Is there an easier way to do it in the engine compartment? Is the headlight switch the way to go? What do you guys think?

Thanks,

John D

  :shruggy: buy a '69?..

Yes, that would be the easiest way (if he had the bread) but why drop down to a minor league year?  :D  I saw a thread on this...  :scratchchin:

wire them up to a separate fused switch, then put the switch under the dash.. simple.

connect a jumper wire from the headlight feed to the running light wires on the 6 pin connector in the engine bay. That way when the headlight switch is on running lights - they are being fed power - then when the headlight switch moves to the headlight on position the running lights still get power     :2thumbs:

Won't that turn on the headlights when he turns on the parking lights?

another way is to finds rear tail light wire in the connector behind the kick panel and run a connecting wire to the front parking lights...rears stay on all the time regardless of switch position for front lights
