Trans rebuild

I am going to get my trans rebuilt some time before summer. I am still in college so money is tight. Can someone give me an estimate on how much it will cost to rebuild a 904 trans? Thanks, Paul

I don't know how much a 904 would cost but since the 727 is very similar, I had mine done for $700 which included all new clutches and bands although that was about 6 years ago.
The thing was bullet proof behind a 440, I beat the snot out of it and it never failed.
